Foam Control
Foam is a dispersion of gas (usually air) in a liquid. Air or gas can be carried along through agitation at the surface, such as by a rotating blade that partially emerges from the liquid or a stream entering the free surface of a liquid.
Foam control with BETE spray nozzles
Foam is undesirable because it can cause vessels to overflow, create slippery and unsafe working conditions, disrupt processing, damage materials, and lead to tanks emptying and drying slowly. Controlling foam can be achieved by spraying liquid on the surface of the pool, vessel, or reservoir, where the droplets of the spray collide with and break the foam bubbles.
