Fox ejectors for gasses

Ejectors have no moving parts and can operate reliably 24/7, unattended and with minimal maintenance, even under extreme operating conditions.

Since the 1960s, Fox Valve has been supplying venturi ejectors to various industries, amassing extensive application knowledge. This includes natural gas vapor recovery, methane capture, low-compression tank venting, pump suction, and multi-stage vacuum systems designed for deep vacuum below 50 mmHg.

Typical Applications

• Ventilation of Pipelines, Vessels, and Ducts: Removing explosive or toxic vapors before maintenance.
• Extraction of Hot Air: Drawing 370°C air containing cement kiln dust from cement kilns.
• Pump Suction: Assisting in pump operations.
• Creating Vacuum: Used in evaporators, crystallizers, deodorizing units, and other chemical and food processing applications.
• Methane and Sewer Gas Venting: Removing gases from landfills, water treatment plants, and natural gas processing.
• Sulfur Vapor Removal: Ejecting sulfur vapors (H2S) from sulfur pits, trucks, and tanks using steam-jacketed ejectors, maintaining internal gas temperatures above 280°F to prevent solidification.
• Exhaust Gas Venting: Removing engine exhaust, fumes, CO2, etc., including creating deep vacuum conditions for jet and rocket engines for high-altitude simulation.
• Handling Explosive or Radioactive Gases: Safe evacuation of dangerous gases.
• Blowdown: Flowing gases through the venturi ejector from a vessel or pipeline at pressures up to 340 bar during initial purging, followed by venting the system at 70 to 140 mBarA.
• Gas Mixing: Achieving precise gas mixture ratios (optionally using a Fox sonic choke on the suction) for various applications.
